How does Cheatr analyze my food?

Cheatr uses GPT-4 vision AI to identify your food from a photo and estimate the calorie breakdown. No barcodes or manual searching needed — just snap and go.

How accurate are the calorie estimates?

Our AI provides close estimates based on visual analysis. Results are approximate and work best for portion guidance. For precise medical nutrition, consult a dietitian.

What is calorie rollover?

If you save calories one day (eat under your goal), Cheatr carries those saved calories forward as bonus calories for the next day. Eat less today, eat more tomorrow.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Cheatr, and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to submit a refund request.

My scan result looks wrong. What do I do?

You can tap "Edit result" after any scan to manually adjust the food name or calorie count. We're always improving accuracy — if you notice consistent issues, let us know at hello@thecheatr.app.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your meal logs and calorie goals are stored locally on your device. Food photos are sent for AI analysis and not stored. Read our full Privacy Policy.
