Cheatr ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Cheatr mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service:

Food photos — images you capture are sent to our AI service for analysis and are not stored beyond the duration of the request.
Usage data — analytics such as feature usage frequency to improve the app.
Subscription data — managed entirely by Apple. We do not store your payment information.
Daily calorie goals and meal logs — stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage. We do not transmit this data to our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To analyze food photos and return calorie and portioning results.
To improve AI accuracy and app performance.
To process your subscription via Apple's in-app purchase system.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Food photos are processed via OpenAI's API and are subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. No personally identifiable information is attached to these requests.

4. Data Retention

Food images are not stored after analysis. All personal health data (calorie goals, meal logs) lives on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

5. Children's Privacy

Cheatr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

You may request deletion of any data associated with your account by contacting us at hello@thecheatr.app.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
